The concept
Breaking the linearity of 500 feet. Located in Udupi district, this press — established in 1941 — wanted a 'new' image for its buildings. Multicoloured screens, tilted at an angle, helped break down the linearity of a 500-foot-long facade. Using various colours of alucobond panels, the individual screen was further broken down; the simple tilting of lines creates an out-of-the-ordinary look, achieved using regular aluminium extrusions.
