Hostel blocks for Post graduate students of VNR Vignan Jyothi Institute at hyderabad. The building had a very demanding site of 50’ x 550’. It was also a east and west facing site which is not ideal for habitation.
The windows were all inset to cast shadows.Also the management had a very unique idea to create freshness in the building with every passing year of students.
Hence patches of insets were created to be repainted with colour of choice which would give unique identiy to the building every year without actually painting the whole building. Cost of the project – 4 crores.
