The practice, under the leadership of Mr.Srinath Advani, brings together a diverse talent pool and resources with a mission to create environments that not only have aesthetic appeal and character, but also facilitate the usability of these spaces while adding a utilitarian quality that is rarely imagined in traditional design methodologies. The practice has a firm belief that the height of cultivation stems from simplicity. Therefore, it is through the removal of what is not needed, that one distills what is ideal.
Mr. Srinath Advani graduated from the Manipal Institute of Technology, in 1996. With a background and education in fine arts, completed his graduation at MIT Manipal and Masters’s in Architecture by Research in Interior Design at R .M. I.T (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) in Australia. He worked for four years in several well-established firms and attained exposure to the workings of international firms.
He returned to India in 2001, after the successful completion of his master’s degree, and joined Advani and associates. Under his tutelage, the consultancy firm branched out into construction and interior execution and outsourcing.
Ms. Deepa Advani
Managing Partner B.Arch, IIA, COA, IGBC AP
Deepa has completed her bachelor’s degree from BMSCE Bangalore. She has joined Advani and Associates. She has been a partner since 2003. She heads the interior design wing under the name of Tandem interiors Pvt Ltd. Over 20 homes have been designed and executed since the inception of TIPL in 2010. She is also an accredited green building consultant from the Indian Green Building Council.
Kumaresh
Studio Head
After graduating from HCE, Chennai, Kumaresh joined the firm in 2007. In his current position as studio head, he manages all the projects of the firm. Kumaresh nurtures a keen interest in new construction technologies and sustainability practices in design and construction.
Mahesh Kumar
Engineering Head
Mahesh completed his Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka in 1988.
He joined Advani and associates in 1994. he has handled all aspects of Civil Engineering activities. Project Planning, Quantity Surveying, Cost estimation, Preparation of Bill of quantities, Preparation of Tender documents, Preparation of Construction Agreement, Bill Checking, and Certification. Valuation of Immovable Properties (Land & Buildings).
Abhinav Mishra
Head of Project Administration for Outsourcing Division
Abhinav studied Civil Engineering and Sustainability at Portland State University, USA. In 2017, Abhinav started managing projects for Cellar Ridge Construction assisting with sustainability and Net-Zero Efficiency. Later in 2018 – Earth Advantage Association recognized Abhinav as a certified Sustainable home professional and he continued to be deeply committed to sustainability in design, science, and technology for construction projects. In 2022 he relocated to India - Bangalore to Partner with Advani & Associates and is Currently, Managing our Project Administration Department.
Harshal Shimpi
Head of Outsourcing Business
Harshal completed his bachelor's in civil engineering from PREC Loni in 2012 and a master's in construction management from NDMVP College in Nasik. Pune. With a master's in Construction Management, he leads the cross-functional teams in the implementation of BIM for large-scale construction projects offshore.
RS Advani
Founder
Mr. Advani obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree from M.S. University Baroda in 1964. After gaining close to 10 years of experience with Celtas India Pvt.Ltd, where he began as Chief Architect and grew to be the executive director, he established 'Advani and Associates’. Since then, he has designed and executed a large number of Residential, Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Health care, Hospitality, and Condominium buildings and townships in and around Bangalore and other parts of Karnataka.
The Practicing Architects Association conferred Mr. R.S.Advani with The Life Time Achievement Award for ‘Outstanding Performance in the field of Architecture’ on 19th, September 2008.
